The best types of gauges are the 18 gauges, it  looks the best for the majority of names.  If you use a thicker chain, you could use  a 16" gauge which will keep everything more consistence.

You could use the Rotary.  This works best. Use steels shot add water to cover the shot, some dawn soap liquid, tumble for about half an hour, then check the results.

I think that the jewelry cleaning cloth is good to clean your silver, gold, platinum, copper & brass ( It is not good to use on electroplated jewelry, pearls and some gem stones).   

You could also clean your jewelry with baking power with a little lemon juice.   Do not use this on your gem stones.

You can make bails, then glue them to the back to make earrings, necklaces, and pendants.  You can also wire wrap the small sea glass to make pendants, earrings, and rings.

I usually wear my sterling silver jewelry every day and sleep in them.   I never take off my jewelry, lately I notice my jewelry is turning color could you please tell me why my jewelry is turning color if it is sterling silver.

Answer:

Sterling silver turns color after a while, if you have too much acid in your blood, if you use harsh chemicals on it such as perfume, and any type of cleaning detergent.  You should try taking better care of your jewelry buy not wearing it every time you are doing household chores, bathing with it, sleeping with it and spraying cologne or perfume on it.

Do you think I should wear sterling silver if I'm allergic?

I think you are better off with gold because I know some people are allergic to sterling silver.  Sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5 coppers and other alloy proportion fixed by the law.  The allergy reactions are from the metals used in the alloy rather than the silver itself.  After a while you will notice the sterling silver color change to  "patina" color which is like an antique color.

Most of the jewelry I see and like is costume jewelry and I'm afraid to wear them, but I really like the styles.  Do you have any suggestions?!

Answer:  

If you are allergic to costume jewelry, you should wear 14k gold, or gold filled.   If you still want to wear the costume jewelry there is an  Allergy Jewelry Shield liquid, you could put on your costume jewelry.  This is for people who are allergic.  You could put it on rings, earrings, bracelets, eyeglasses and watches.  If you want to wear the costume jewelry earrings then you could change the ear wire to surgical steel, gold or gold filled depends on the color of the costume jewelry.
